The village church schedules Sunday school at 10 18 a m and worship at 11 15 a m with a Youth Fellowship planned for Sunday. A roundup of visits and meals includes families from Edgewood West Union and Des Moines with many relatives attending events and celebrations in town and nearby.
Mr. and Mrs. Pete Thoman of Minneapolis spent Monday and Tuesday in the Bert Thoman home. Mrs. James Hermen and Steven called Tuesday afternoon on Mrs. George Nickels, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Moore.
A large gathering in the Martin home on the 17th marked Jeri Martin’s 4th birthday with relatives and friends including the Ericksons Pattersons Martins and Houstons among others.
