Overthrow fears stalk Averageville in communistic tale
A garbled piece paints a fantasy of a 178 year old United States under communist control. It warns that families like Joe Smith's farm and local businessmen will lose freedom, facing government dictates on production, purchase, and prices. It urges vigilance and public criticism now to prevent tyranny. It also blends unrelated local items and a college education note with a December events rundown and a young woman's profile.
