Fourth District Meeting Set for Manchester May 1
About 400 members of the American Legion Auxiliary are expected to attend the Fourth District Spring Conference in Manchester on Saturday May 1. Delegates from 15,451 members across 12 counties will gather at 9:30 am with registration at 8:30 am. A service school leads at 10:00 am under Department Adjutant R J La Laird and Department Service Officer Jerome Scheckel. Fourth District Commander Erwin J Goff will open sessions at 1:00 pm with District Vice Commanders Carson Peterson Joe Shkindelar Jr and sent Kiple assisting. An election of district officers and delegates to the National Convention at Portland Oregon is planned. The Auxiliary meets at 9:30 am led by Fourth District President Mrs Leslie Midlang.
