Louisa Metzger daughter of Jane and Rachel Martine was born in Clayton county on 1 Sth 1090 and died at the Paine Memorial hospital on April 12 at age 74 from circulatory collapse. She married George Metzger in 1912 and they had seven children including John of Clermont. An infant Elmer preceded her in death. Pallbearers were Reuben Butikofer Ruben Metzger Fred Martie Edward Butikofer Jake Lehman and Ben Butikofer. The family thanks neighbors friends and relatives for sympathy cards memorials and food.

Gary Dale Miller born June 16 1947 in West Union Iowa moved to rural area as a child. He attended Elgin Cler tus schools and was a senior at Valley High School at his passing. He was a 4 H member baptized December 12 1958 and member of First Baptist Church Elgin. A busy crash near Valley High led to his death in 1965. Memorial service held at First Baptist Church April 17 Pastor George W Breitkreuz officiated. Funeral arrangements by Muehlethaler with burial at Elgin Cemetery. CARD OF THANKS expresses gratitude for sympathy flowers and prayers from relatives and friends.
