Lloyd Smith who died of gunshot wounds in Marshalltown Thursday formerly lived in Lawn Hill and is a brother of Mrs The odore Crosser. Mrs E R Eagan attended Providence Pearl's Achievement day in New Providence. Mrs Eagan led a group last year. Warren Mossman and daughter Carol Ann and sons Neil and David from Radcliffe joined Mir and Mrs Evan Reece in Marshalltown Thursday. Lila Tobin and Mavis Nehring from Reinbeck are visiting Herb Nehring this week. Rev Vern Butler from Providence R I was a visitor in the Tes John Deedrick home Wednesday. Mr and Mrs Evan Reece heard their son Malo and family are vacationing in Florida. Her parents Frank Rash accompanied them on their trip, while Mr and Mrs Sylvester Deedrick and family from New York have been visitingRev and (truncated).
Mrs. John Deedrick left for home Wednesday morning. Mrs. Leonard White Phyllis and Lowell Broer and Alman White returned home Sunday after a week at the Young Friends conference in Oskaloosa. Mrs. Lawrence Tatum and her baby daughter came home from Eldora hospital this week.

Eldora group Eldora Happy Hustlers met Thursday afternoon August 11 at Leone Bowers home to discuss booth ideas for the county fair. Julianne Eckel and Beverly Cordes demonstrated spot removal. They will compete with other clubs at the fair and in the county style show. Record books were reviewed for submission to the Farm Bureau office.
