Ross Invents Revolving Machinery Stand in Wellsburg
W Ross of Wellsburg husband of Miss Bessie Geerdes of Steamboat Rock completed a new revolving display stand for showing machinery. Built for Allis Chalmers of Des Moines, it is 12 feet in diameter with capacity for two tractors and sturdy enough to carry them. Demonstrated Tuesday with Allis Chalmers representatives present. the company plans to use it at the state fair and other display venues. Work began in July and finished last week.
