Food bank ends home delivery amid suspected fraud
The Snoking Food Bank in Edmonds stopped home delivery of cheese and butter after 20 recipients were found to have exploited the service. Director Rev. Paul Larson cited double dipping and noted hospital patients and others used proxy acceptances, with some recipients abroad or unavailable. Government rules expect in person pickup, with rare exceptions for the ill.
