The Edmonds-South Snohomish County Historical Society reissues Ray V. Cloud’s Edmonds The Gem of Puget Sound, a 1953 history of Edmonds. About 1,000 paperback copies go on sale Aug 6 at the Edmonds Museum, 118 5th Ave N, with an open house 1 to 4 PM.

Snohomish County Transportation Authority leaders approved three grant applications after receiving a $93,000 Urban Mass Transportation Authority grant to buy two 20 passenger buses for Dial-A-Ride.
