Council votes against stop sign at 232nd and La Pierre
Mountlake Terrace city staff found no warrant for a stop sign at 232nd Street S.W. and La Pierre Drive after a June council review. The one way configuration since 1984, low traffic, 25 mph limit, and strong signing were cited as factors. No north south opposing traffic and no recorded accidents support keeping the intersection as is. The council approved ongoing staff analysis to consider Copan's request further.
