Edmonds votes to allow student religious meetings on grounds
The Edmonds School Board unanimously approved a policy allowing non curricular religious student groups to meet on district property before or after school. It outlines approval procedures, limits on actions, and requires notices state the meetings are not school sponsored. It adopts an open forum policy in line with the Equal Access Act and restricts distribution of literature and staff involvement.
