Two girls struck by car in Mountlake Terrace crosswalk
Magan Thody and Suzanne Kelly, both 13 from Brier, were hit while crossing 56th Avenue in a marked crosswalk near 239th Street. They were en route to catch a bus to Brier Terrace Middle School when a 41 year old Mountlake Terrace man failed to yield. Thody suffered scrapes. Kelly had leg fractures and internal injuries but was listed as stable.
