Descendants carry pioneer Raymond Thompson's legacy into space era
Frances Sinrud Hawkinson and Richard Sinrud run Sinrud Plastics, an injection molding firm started by Frances's parents in 1970, sharing Thompson family property with the Raymond Thompson Co. Snares. The firms sold to NASA and U S military programs, with annual snare sales and a storied dog sledding past. Ruby Thompson, born 1899, reflects on a life spanning Alberta and North America, while Frances Hawkinson manages production as her brother handles snare fabrication.
