Terrace Park Unveils New Village Flag
Terrace Park displayed its new village flag at the July 12 council meeting. The flag, designed by high schooler Erin Guthrie who won a Bicentennial contest, will fly beside the U.S. flag in the village hall. Guthrie’s design features a tree encircled by the village name and the year 1893 on a white field.

Fairfax approves budget and revenue sharing plan
The Fairfax council adopted a 1978 budget with line items for law enforcement, operations, fire prevention, recreation, waste collection, and street construction. It also set funds for street construction maintenance and a general bond retirement fund.
