Trinity College Joins Fight Over Race Sociology Book
The Trinity Chronicle reports on Professor Jerome Dowd of Oklahoma writing a multi volume sociological study of races starting with the Negro race. Macmillan will publish the work which Dowd says aims to map distinct racial institutions and evolutions and to explain mental traits through sociological law. Dowd studied travelers and scholars and thanks Trinity College alumni and faculty in the preface.
