Mrs Margaret Chiarelli and son Terry along with Mrs Jane Chiarelli left Friday for Salt Lake City then San Diego to visit relatives for a couple of weeks. Vida Curry returned home after months with daughter Glenna in Orem. Several families camped and fished at Flaming Gorge, with Allen Smith joining. Dorothy Bertola visited Dinosaur Colorado with the Bertola family.

Tabiona Hanna road project awarded to Clyde
The Tabiona Hanna road project contract goes to W W Clyde Springville Utah as the apparent low bidder with a bid of 302216 30. Myron Taylor Utah State Department of Highways says the contract is under study by the contractor bonding company before issuing a performance bond. Construction starts in June from the north edge of Tabiona past the Hanna sawmill as a realignment near the Duchesne River. Bids were opened May 10.

Community home economics course at courthouse
A six week series meets Mondays at 7 30 p m in the courthouse with Mrs Rhea Gardner and Prof Clements as instructors. More specialists will be invited based on group interest and participation. Residents are invited to attend and the next meeting is June 6.

Carolyn Dunn a consumer marketing specialist from Utah State University will address the Roosevelt Stake Relief Society meeting on May 27 at 2 p.m. at the Roosevelt Stake Center. She will present a lecture demonstration on Getting the Most for Your Food Dollar arranged with Relief Society President Mrs Helen Larson and home economist Mrs Mary C Boender from Duchesne County Extension Service.
