Carrie Collins Sentenced to Life for First Degree Murder

A Circuit Court jury found Carrie B. Collins guilty of first degree murder in the January 29 slaying of Ruby Lee Collins and sentenced her to life imprisonment. The trial featured circumstantial testimony about a conspiracy to kill Ruby Lee Collins, with testimony from the defendant’s former husband T. J. Harris and other witnesses.
