Abbeville Man Killed in High Speed Crash
Carlos Leroy Murphy thirty two of Abbeville was killed instantly when his car turned over on a county dirt road three miles east of Abbeville at 530 PM yesterday. Earl Henley said Murphy was speeding lost control and wrecked the vehicle valued at about 250. He leaves a widow Florence Williams Murphy and a two week old baby. also his mother Sadie Murphy and sisters Mrs Chester Sanders and Mrs Woodrow McKay. Funeral held at Balcom church with Rev Mark Lower. burial at church cemetery. pallbearers listed.
