The Dothan Salvation Army reports $271.19 spent on relief in January under Captain V A Tidman. It aided 73 families with 77 beds and 79 meals, plus 27 families, 82 home visits, 112 office interviews, 56 groceries, 14 fuel, two rent, eight clothes, nine shoes, 13 medicines, and other help. Adults served 108 and children 155 with 73 active cases. several indigent Negro families aided from Central Relief funds. Eight white families received groceries through the plan.
