Rish Wins State House Race In Houston County

John W. Rish a Dothan attorney defeated Alex Wood a Columbia resident by 66 votes to win the Houston county seat in the State House. Early results favored Wood but Columbia area boxes swung the tally. Rish total 2706 Wood 2240. J Hubert Farmer was unopposed for the Senate district 35 seat with 3315 votes.
