Alligator damages car on Texas highway
Johnny Collins 18 of Dickinson encountered a 10 foot alligator on Texas 146 near Dickinson Bayou. The reptile bit the front tire and a bumper of his 1988 Pontiac Grand Am after he tried to move it off the roadway. A second motorist stopped, and state game wardens later destroyed the wounded animal.
