Court of Appeals Confirms Judgment Aho Estate Action
The Third District Court of Appeal affirmed a judgment of the Men docino county Superior court in Sofia Laukkare v Lizzie Abrahamson administrator of the Malakius Aho estate. Laukkare sued in April 1934 to recover 1659 for services rendered to August Aho between April 6 1932 and June 15 1933. The court held Laukkare had notice of the claim rejection more than three months before filing and the claim is barred by the probate code. Defendant to recover costs.

High School Hoops Edged by Kelseyville in Three Games
In a three game set on Saturday night Kelseyville defeated the A team 30 to 27 while Ukiah claimed the B game 15 to 14 and the C game 16 to 17. Ashton led with 9 points, Weselsky added 6, and Onomiya topped C with 8 as Ukiah pressed in the late minutes. Attendance showed notable school spirit amid a tight series.

Hopland Man R O Bothwell Mourned By Friends
Funeral services were held Monday at Hopland Methodist for R O Bothwell who died Thursday after months of illness in a Ukiah hospital. He was 51, long a Hopland resident, once ran a restaurant in the Metziar building. Born in Montpelier Ohio he came to California in 1922 and left a wife in Washington, a daughter Mrs T N Sackett of Southgate, and three sons Reginald B Bothwell of Manchester New Hampshire. Mrs Sackett traveled from the south to attend the funeral and stayed with Miss Lola Duarte. He was respected for integrity and left many Hopland friends.
