Heating Plant Big Factor in Home Decoration

The Holland Institute of Thermology notes radiators clash with room decor, waste wall and floor space, and attract dust. Warm air systems using floor or wall grilles offer a concealed, unobtrusive solution with vaporaire providing ample, gentle air circulation and minimal dirt buildup.

Humidity Shortage Makes Hot Rooms Feel Chilly

Heating engineers from the Holland Institute of Thermology explain that low humidity in heated rooms causes a sensation of chill even when temperatures rise into the eighties. Dry air depletes moisture from occupants, prompting discomfort and requests for higher heat. A 70 degree target with 40 percent humidity is recommended, with modern vapor-air heating systems evaporating 20 or more gallons daily to maintain comfort.
