Death of B R Stevenson Wisdom Pioneer and Land Commissioner
B R Stevenson a Wisdom resident and former United States land commissioner died Thursday in a Butte hospital after a fall caused a pelvis fracture. Born December 27, 1861 in Boston he moved west and became an early Big Hole Basin settler. He is survived by his widow and son Robert, with burial planned in Salt Lake City.

Federal Forest Road Funds Allocated
The Treasury allocated 4.5 million dollars in federal forest highway funds for 1931 for roads within and around national forests.
