Coach Bruce Hollister attended a Helena conference for athletic coaches on December 18 and officials approved inter-collegiate regulations among Montana schools. Tentative basketball schedules were set, with a large list of staff and students registered for winter programs and holiday travel noted.
Nightingale confidant John Smithhurst, a clergyman, is buried at Flora Ontario after leaving England in exile. He emigrated to Canada and died there in 1867. Nightingale later pursued nursing and never saw him again as she was sent abroad.
Ismael Bedard of Charlesbourg Quebec County asserts his family has inhabited the same land since 1629. The current house is believed to be the original dwelling built that year, with uninterrupted ownership by the Bedard lineage through generations.

In the Fifth Judicial District Beaverhead County Montana the court considers an order for the sale of all real and personal property of Xavier Renois deceased upon the verified petition of executor Henry R Paddock. The action seeks authorization to liquidate the estate to satisfy lawful purposes and debts. The court requires an show cause hearing to determine if the sale should proceed.
Notice declares a court order to sell all estate assets of Xavier Renois deceased including real mining and personal property in Beaverhead County Montana. Hearing set January 8 1925 to show cause why executor may sell by private or public sale. Also includes a mining claim and two Bannack houses with squatters’ rights. Dated December 4 1924.
