Mr and Mrs Bud Lapham visited Dillon during the week. The Junior bridge club met at Evelyn Krause home with prizes won by Evelyn Krause Rose Lapham and Vic Harris. A Wisdom birthday dinner honored Mrs Harold Nelson with 28 family members present. Clarence Olson hosted Sunday dinner at Keith Boettichers. Dan Shepherd John Pendergast and Bill Gandrud played music at a Wisdom Masonic Hall dance drawing attendees from Jackson.

Normal College Opens with Higher Enrollment This Fall
Registration continues at the Normal college with a larger enrollment than last year. Physical examinations were held on Tuesday and classes began Wednesday at 8. The autumn quarter reception for faculty and students is set for Friday evening September 26 at 8 with dancing to follow.
