The funeral of the two year eight month old child of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Swetich, who died Friday afternoon after a tuberculosis illness, was held Monday morning with interment in Mountain View cemetery. An infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Boozer died Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Annabel Desmond, the child aged one day. Mrs. Boozer is daughter of Yardmaster Patterson.

The state board of equalization ordered a twenty percent rise in stock cattle valuation in Beaverhead County. The prior assessment was $8,260,770, increasing by 20 percent to $3,912,924 total. Tax is one third of valuation, set at one and a half mills, yielding a total stock cattle tax of $1,956.46, an increase of $326.08.
Dr. H. W. Luther, previously with Dr. H. F. Best, returns to Dillon and opens his own dental offices in the Phillips apartments.
