Supreme Court Upholds Statute Extending Corporate Existence
Montana’s supreme court upheld the constitutionality of a 19381 act allowing corporations to extend their existence for up to 40 years. The ruling, written by Associate Justice J A Matthews, found the amendment clarifies the law and that the title clearly expresses the bill’s subject, dismissing the quo warranto action against Leader company and about 60 others.
