Articles of incorporation for the Montana Meat Market are to be filed soon in Dillon. The company aims to run general wholesale and retail meat operations and to expand facilities. R N Cosgrove will manage and retain his stake, while Frank Swartz sells his stake to E O Selway O M Best and Roscoe Cornell. Mrs. Hal Brenner visited Dillon from Horse Prairie for several days last week.

Reverend H G Humphrey pastor of the local Methodist church with Dr William Dudley of Indianapolis and Dr Charles M Donaldson of Helena returned Thursday from a tour of the Big Hole basin in the interest of Wesleyan University. They reported splendid success and praised the valley and its progressive people.
Bird Billings was brought in from Grasshopper on a burglary accusation at the Gray Roadhouse. He allegedly entered the premises and stole money a revolver and other items. the revolver was sold, leading to his arrest after the weapon was traced to the sheriff's office.
The Beaverhead Anglers Club will hold a members meeting next Friday evening at 7 30 p m at the Union Electric Shop. All members are urged to attend. C T Magnus, Secretary.
Messrs. Downing and Jorgenson agreed to share $125 cost for a replacement lamp post after Downing struck the previous one with his truck. The pair were in police court a week earlier with conflicting blame, and the trial was set before they settled to pay. Early yesterday another lamp post was toppled when Frank Wilson backed into it in front of Beaverhead Lumber Company.

Beaverhead high school and spectators watched a Saturday game where the locals stopped Butte City High School after a second quarter touchdown. Wyman Smith powered for fifty yards, the standout play as rain and mud framed the contest.
