Socialists Fail To File State Nomination In Montana
Secretary of State declines to place socialist nominees on the Montana state slate after a mass Helena meeting. A certificate naming Ambrose, Dawley, Moody, Duffy, Lyle, Getchell, and Smithers was rejected pending attorney general guidance. The court previously ruled socialists must file via primary to seek ballot status.
