Legacy funds enable Montana children's home and Deaconess school debt relief
Legacies from late Dick Chandler of Musselshell county total $182000 for the Montana children's home and hospital and the Montana Deaconess school in Helena. After taxes each will receive about $75000 with around $50000 to retire debts on the Deaconess building and the remainder added to the school endowment. The children's home would become debt free for the first time in 25 years, with the rest placed in its endowment. Chandler died in 1940 and funds will be available soon.
