At a special city council meeting the estimate for the water works project was approved at 14332.25 dollars covering pipe equipment and excavation. The Dillon notes also describe fall snow, sleigh bells, real estate activity in Stahl addition, and a statue fountain planned for the city.

The Wisdom community hosted a PTA card party with nine tables of pi nochle prizes won by Grover Helming and Kate Hurley. The door prize went to Hans Jorgenson and chicken to Harry Helming. Mrs. Clarence Helming hosted an evening party with local families in attendance. The American Legion Auxiliary met with plans for post year activities and a school program for Armistice Day and Thanksgiving. Navy Day observances featured a Sunshine Club program and poetry readings. Multiple residents traveled to Hamilton for Beaverhead County Federation events and to Dillon for meetings. A birthday celebration marked Swartz’s first birthday with cake and ice cream attended by local children.
Fred Wilson of Montana State College Bozeman will judge the fifth annual Western Montana Hereford Breeders association show and sale in Butte on November 12 and 13. Auctioneer is H D Sager Bozeman. Sixty five bulls and 20 females have been consigned by 24 Montana hereford breeders.
