High School Stage Thrill Night Must Fall Draws Crowd
The high school presented Night Must Fall on Monday to Wednesday evenings last week and drew strong audience praise. Cast included Dean Romers Barbara Boyer John Patton Donna Carrigan Fay Waldemar Peggy Lou Sutherland Rosemary Lane Ted Hazlebaker and Frank Merrell with Fred Honeychurch directing and Mary Ricketts promoting. The Wisdom Women’s club requested a return showing at the Masonic hall on November 7.

Health meeting called in Dillon on tuberculosis effort
Mrs. Henrietta Crockett executive secretary of the Montana Tuberculosis association will speak in Dillon in the Dillon city hall council room at 1 30 p m Monday November 10 to organize a Beaverhead county tuberculosis association. Representatives of health groups have been invited to attend.

Beaverhead County bids seek equipment for county use
Bids are invited by the Beaverhead County Commissioners for a two ton or one and a half ton truck with specified motor and wheelbase, tires, hydraulic jack, heater, defroster, wipers, electric starter, fuel system, generator capacity, and Federal C-5 siren. Bids due December 2, 1947, at 3:00 PM at the County Clerk’s Dillon office. The board may accept or reject any bids. The notice also includes an estate sale order in the John Kent estate with a court hearing set for November 17, 1947.

Dell Farm Bureau will hold its regular monthly meeting on November 7 at 8 p m in the Dell hotel. Premiums for hospital and physicians insurance must be in by that time. The meeting will feature a discussion on the new Dell Lcan hall project for residents of southern Beaverhead county.

Prominent Ranchman Succumbs in Local Community Atonement
A respected ranchman, member of Dillon chapter No 8 R A M and Mason, is survived by his wife Mabel a daughter Mrs Harold Soper of Twin Falls Idaho and several grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Brundage chapel with Rev James M Hunter officiating. Graveside rites at Mountain View cemetery were conducted by the Masonic order with pallbearers listed as Clark D Evl Lyn Maynard Mider Francis Taylor Fred Johnson and Stanley Sisterson.
