Lima Assembly plans November initiation and sponsor night
Lima Assembly No. 47 O.R.G. met October 25 with Worthy Advisor Darlene Rush guiding. They arranged initiation for the first November meeting and sponsor's night. The session closed at 10 45 p m. The Double Four Pinochle club met at Mrs Varna Jenkins home last Tuesday for games. Rites were awarded with high to Mrs Valeria Pierce low to Mrs Ora Grimstead and all out to Mrs Dorothy Bittick. The Dell Farm Bureau will hold its regular meeting Friday November 5 at the Dell Community hall with George Gleed and Hovie Cantrell providing entertainment and a movie. Doris Gravely and Viola Sweeney to serve lunch. Attendees may join Blue Cross Insurance. Armistice Day events scheduled at the Dell Community hall on November 6. Harry Weeks drove to Dillon Saturday for dental care. Home Demonstration club met.

Girl Scout Notes Highlight Local Uniformed Citizenship Week
In observance of National Girl Scout week Dillon organizers report cadets will wear uniforms in county offices including Mary Mc Laughlin as assessor and Eliza beth Ann McFadden as clerk of court. They will observe duties, report to meetings, attend services, and a leaders training is planned at St James Guildhall.
