Officers Elected at Lloyd Whipple Post 4163 VFW
Members of Lloyd Whipple Post 4163 VFW elected officers for the coming year at the regular meeting on March 15. Elvin Thompson was chosen commander, Harry Jensen senior vice commander, Stewart Burwell junior vice commander, and Carl Davis chaplain. Installation will occur at the April meeting. Two new members, George L. Hammond and Emil Brinckman, were admitted. The group also organized fund drives for the World War II Memorial Plaque and discussed plans to attend the District No. 4 convention in Anaconda. Over 50 members and guests attended the session.
