The bi monthly Melrose Rebekah lodge card party drew eight tables of whist in Odd Fellow hall. Prizes went to Mrs Anne Fraser Miss Hazel La Marche Mrs Frank Gordon Mrs Aline Stone Floyd Smith Mrs Kenneth Hull and Jack O'Brien. A lunch of doughnuts cup cakes and coffee was served by Mrs John Mac Ivor Mrs Louis Hoffman and Mrs Otto Boetticher.
