P I Smith Injured In Auto Wreck In Madison County
The P ion and Smith cars collided on the Butte Dillon highway in Madison county. Panton driving the ion car on the wrong side forced the Smith car north to swerve and strike. Mrs Smith and son were taken to Dillon hospital. P I Smith injured. Local officers questioned witnesses. Frank Kovacich of Butte owned the Smith car. he is a cousin of the man arrested. The scene was near Vir ginia City after the crash.
