Audit notes irregularities in Montana county claims
The June 1947 minutes show road and bridge claims delayed due to budget inadequacy, a practice deemed budget-law evasion. Several claims are questioned for legal authority, improper fund use, missing receipts, or outside-state expenditures. The report calls for refunds to proper funds, bid processes, and adherence to mileage and bond premium rules, signed by Deputy State Examiner C H Lowe.
