Lima voters reject bond issue and council names treasurer
Lima taxpayers defeated the bond issue at the February 24 election with 54 of 83 ballots against the measure. At a Lima council meeting, Robert Schiers was appointed treasurer to fill the unexpired term of Lola Ford and will handle water bills at his drug store. The item follows a long list of local visits, church events, and community notices across Lima and surrounding areas.
