Beaverhead county 4 H club girls held their roundup style revue and picnic in Dillon under Miss Gladys Tofte. Doris McAdam will represent Beaverhead at the North Montana fair in Great Falls for clothing, with Janet Peterson and Anne Hansen also attending to give demonstrations. Florence Casterline won first place in first year clothing, and Jessie Knox won first in second year.

WPA funds $39,065 okayed for Dillon street project
The Works Progress Administration allotted $39,065 to Dillon for construction, reconstruction and improvement of streets and alleys citywide. Posse Finds Boy Lost in Wilderness Near Wise River
Harry Lappin a 13 year old Butte youth was found by a search posse early Saturday after nearly 24 hours lost in the wild Pattengail Creek area southwest of Wise River. He had wandered after losing the car with two other boys Muri Gidel and Jack Layne and initially feared the rescuers thinking they were hyenas.

Inter-State Community Picnic at Sacajawea Park Ends Season

Pheasants to be released in vicinity this season
The Butte Anglers club plans to release over 300 pheasants in Beaverhead valley this season with 624 young birds and 483 eggs at Maiden Rock hatchery.
