Postmaster Harry J. Andrus and government officials relocate the federal building Christmas tree to the roof to deter bulb snatchers and keep the lights intact for next year. The annual display had drawn thieves for several seasons, but the new height aims to curb theft while preserving the festive sight.
Henry Hignight led the club with 266 points in the first regular meet of the season held Friday night.
