Beaverhead County Commissioners Hold December 1934 Session
The Beaverhead board of county commissioners met December 3 to 5 1934 with Commissioners Rife Hartwig and Jackson and Clerk Baker present. They granted Sullivan Valve and Engineering Co permission to install a 17 inch draft control on the courthouse boiler under a 60 day trial and 10 percent savings guarantee. They planned notices for precinct 8 and ordered maps filed by December 15 1934. The board reviewed precinct voter data and approved various county payments and payrolls. James E Burt and John E Hutchins were appointed to local offices and bonds set at $2000. Additional appointments covered school and fair boards. The group authorized attendance at a Montana railroad hearing in Billings and consolidated Brenner precinct 9 per voter wishes.
