Chevrolet’s Certificate Plan Expands Fast
Hundreds of Chevrolet dealers have adopted the six per cent purchased certificate plan. Thousands of families are using it to start buying a Chevrolet with a five dollar initial payment and flexible weekly or monthly installments. Six per cent interest accrues on monies paid until the price nears one third, then delivery follows. Present owners receive six per cent credit on accessories, service, and repairs when purchasing a certificate.

The certificate funds are deposited by the dealer into a trustee bank account and insured by a strong insurance policy. Purchasers are protected against dealer or bank failure and may apply the six percent interest toward any Chevrolet model. The certificate is transferable and offsets depreciation with six percent on accessories and services.
Abolition Plan Cuts Interior Land Offices in Bill
Washington on December 10 the interior department bill would abolish 39 land offices and the office of surveyor general merging duties with field surveying, saving 167000 and 255000 from receivers and offices. The savings total 31 million less than last year with seven Montana offices listed for shutdown next July 1.

About 700000 pounds of the Idaho wool pool were sold by sealed bids in Portland on Monday. Prices were above 50 cents though not public, and the sale, the third annual Idaho clip shipped to Portland, set records for both price levels and rapid cleanup.
