Miss Mary Gelhaus entertained in honor of cousin Miss Mary Ahlquist from Salt Lake City with bridge and prizes for top scorers.

Complimentary events and visits brighten a Dillon week
Dr and Mrs W J Romersa hosted a birthday dinner for Miss Lucille Funk with six covers. Alpha Farmer left for Long Beach after a month with her parents. The Methodist Aid society met in church parlors. Rainbow girls delegates from Dillon attended a Bozeman assembly with Mrs J C Wedum and John T Orr assisting. Local residents traveled to New Orleans and Colorado. several returned from travels in Colorado and Idaho. visits continued between Dillon, Jackson and Corvallis while some plan teaches in Shelley Idaho.

The Beaverhead county board of commissioners met in regular session as a board of final budget on August 5 1931 in Dillon Montana. Budgets were reviewed amended and ordered filed with the county clerk while notices and adjournment terms were set for August 10. The equalization session closed with no reductions. The board then reconvened as final budget to approve budgets for various funds including maintenance operation bridges salaries and wages and new bridges.
