Estray sale notice warns the public that five described horses will be sold at public auction for cash at 2:30 p.m. on September 6, 1947, at the Arthur Christensen ranch on Carter Creek about 12 miles from Dillon Montana. Animals include one day mare about 1300 pounds with two lumps on left shoulder, one sorrel mare about 950 pounds, one bay gelding, one gray stud about 1000 pounds with light body spots, and one sorrel stud about 1050 pounds with white face and leg marks.
