Montana Wool Growers Association Reassesses Sheep Values
The state board of equalization rescinded earlier sheep assessments for this year. A report from the Montana Wool Growers Association committee chaired by Henry Sieben, W. J. Bickett, and Arthur Ward proposed new values for taxation: lambs up to 6 dollars. ewes and various ages up to 6 dollars. ewes over five years 4 dollars. bucks 10 dollars. The board will decide after reviewing a hearing request from the Helena committee.
