Glacier Park Proposed in Montana as Crown of the Continent
A new Glacier National Park would cover most glaciers in the lower 48 states outside Alaska in Montana near the Canadian border. Senator Carter outlines boundaries from Flathead Valley to Belton with roads and forest-service cooperation, highlighting Sperry and other glaciers, vast ice fields, lakes, and wildlife within a 50 by 40 mile area.
