Devils Lake district court session ends after ten days with half the docket cleared. Judge Cowan to adjourn until January as Cando term opens December 4. Grand Jury urges Ramsey County to create a building fund with 5000 annually for a new court house and remodelling of the present structure. Indictments include John Smith and Adam Gaukos for assault with dangerous weapons and Sam Goldberg plus others for common nuisance or related offenses. Several individuals were dismissed for robbery or lesser charges. The first verdict awarded 450 to Stver Scrumgard and P J McClory in a suit against Ole Ugland.

Hundreds of children flocked to the Charles theatre last Saturday afternoon for a special kids program. The lobby buzzed with young attendees before the doors opened and the house was nearly full for the matinee. University report shows wide state and international representation
President McVey notes 1910 1911 attendance totals at the University of North Dakota reach 967 with 490 in colleges and 129 in the model high school. Of the college attendees 418 come from North Dakota and 72 from three foreign countries and fifteen states. Women total 229 with dormitory distribution and room for 45 more. Catholic Fair Opens Tuesday at St Joseph’s Church
The Catholic fair at St Joseph’s church begins Tuesday night November 28 in the church basement and runs through Saturday night. Raffle items include a Mitchell runabout, two city lots, a Scotch poodle, and a phonograph. Supper starts at 5 pm nightly with noon dinners on Thursday and Friday. A Thanksgiving turkey dinner will be served Thursday noon and a chicken pie supper Thursday night. Music is featured each night.
