Okaloosa County land development coordinator Collier Houston joked the rain forced a map move to avoid getting it wet. The 4 by 8 foot Destin zoning drawing was driven via ambulance to Sandpiper Cove Yacht Club for the Destin Rotary Club meeting. A public hearing on the rezoning plan is set for Sept. 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Shalimar courthouse annex board room.
