First Mutual Savings Association of Florida, a stock corporation, posted higher profits for its first quarter of fiscal 1987. Net income was 695,000 dollars, 28 cents per share, up from 561,000 dollars, 23 cents per share a year earlier. Loan originations rose 52 percent to 63.3 million dollars, with total loans reaching 700.9 million dollars by quarter end from 669.4 million at June 30, 1986.
