Higher December Bills Hit Four West Florida Cities
Central Telephone Company of Florida customers in Fort Walton Beach DeFuniak Springs Mary Esther and Freeport will pay a 1 percent franchise or license fee charge starting Nov 21 due to new Florida Public Service Commission rules. The fees go to local governments and were previously absorbed by the company. Each monthly bill will show the increase in the four communities.
